Care, built by people who still practice it.

We started Solace to close the gap between what good therapy could be and what most people actually get. Here’s who we are and how we work.

Therapy that doesn’t ask you to perform wellness.

Solace began in 2019 with three therapists and a shared frustration: the field was full of good clinicians and bad access — long waitlists, confusing insurance, and a system that treated people like case numbers.

Today we’re a collective of licensed therapists across six specialties, still built around that original idea: therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who’s genuinely paying attention, not a script.

Good therapy is mostly just consistency and honesty, offered without an agenda.

Dr. Maya Ellison, Clinical Director

Four things we don’t compromise on.

Whole-person, not a diagnosis

We treat the person carrying the symptom, not just the symptom.

Plain language, always

No jargon, no performance. If a term needs explaining, we explain it.

Consistency over intensity

Small, steady sessions beat occasional breakthroughs that don’t stick.

You set the pace

You decide what to bring up and when. We follow your lead, not a script.
