Terms & Conditions

Last updated January 2025. Please read these terms before booking a session with Solace.

Acceptance of terms

By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our services.

Using our services

Solace provides therapy services to adults located in the states where our clinicians are licensed. Services are not a substitute for emergency care — in a crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest ER.

Appointments & cancellations

Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours are billed at the full session rate, except for documented emergencies.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept the insurance plans listed on our Rates & Insurance page, plus self-pay and sliding-scale options.

Confidentiality

What you share in session is confidential, with standard legal exceptions covering risk of serious harm or abuse of a minor/elder. Full details are provided at your first session.

Limitation of liability

While our clinicians are licensed and experienced, therapy outcomes can’t be guaranteed. Solace is not liable for outcomes arising from decisions made during or after treatment.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally; continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
